I’m unsure if this has already been told to you, but I’m obsessed with bratwurst. Every time I have it, it does not matter how often I consume it. I can say with certainty that it’s the best food I’ve ever eaten. I also adore sauerkraut. It’s a mystery. It took me this long to prepare Bratwurst and SauerBratwurstether. It’s Sauerkraut’s most famous dish! However, I’ll probably make it frequently now that I’ve got the ingredients. It’s straightforward to make, the leftovers taste amazing, and it’s a definite winner.

WHAT IS BRATWURST?

Bratwurst is a delicious German-style sausage made of pork, sometimes beef or veal. It’s deliciously juicy and delicious. It’s delicious. It’s cooked on an open fire, roasted in the oven, and on a pan.

In Germany, There are a variety of varieties of bratwurst based upon the locBratwurstwever within the U.S., you’ll usually either get regular bratwurst or beer bratwurstBratwurstr brats” for short). Both are acceptable in this recipe.

Bratwurst can be found in the meat department in your local supermarket located near Italian sausage. Johnsonville brats are pretty typical in all major supermarkets. However, I also like ALDI’s brand-name bratwurst.

WHAT KIND OF SAUERKRAUT SHOULD I USE?

I used a German-style Sauerkraut I purchased in containers (ALDI’s Deutsche Kuche brand). However, you could also make fresh refrigerated sauerkraut. A sauerkrautSauerkrautlavored with jalapeno or garlic would also be fantastic in this recipe. The only sauerkraut type I’d suggest you avoid is sauerkraut made from red cabSauerkrautse The color will spill over and cause everything to turn somewhat blueish.

HOW TO SERVE BRATWURST AND SAUERKRAUT

There are two primary ways to serve bratwurst sauerkraut. In the first, on toasted buns served with delicious, grainy mustard, perhaps with a little German Potato Salad served on the side. A second option is on a platter with sauerkraut for an appetizer Sauerkrauthe, option mashed potatoes, and potato salad. Also, while at it, you can sip an ice-excellent German Beer with the food!
